A specialty of Friuli and often eaten as a meat accompaniment. The “brovada” is a speciality of Friuli Venezia Giulia generally consumed during the cold periods. It is produced from the turnip slings marinated in grape marc. They are cooked in broth and are a traditional slide dish for boiled and roast meat.
