FROM FRUIT TO FRUIT
LE PRIMIZIE: the nature comes eariery, it is perfect and source of inspiration, it can’t be reproduced. These typical, traditional products are born from the refining process of Apulian almonds. They are modeled from the skilled hands of ALDA’s pastry chefs and they are an explosion of goodness.
The glazed earthenware plate is part of Fratelli Colì’s collection, with whom we have been working for years in order to offer our selectors Italian crafts items. The artisan production of Coli’s family can be dated around 1650. In the land registry it is written that Pascale Colì practiced its profession as “codimaro”, artisan who produces clay vases, in the village of Cutrofiano. Today his work goes on and renovates through young skilled employees, so that most of the production is still worked and decorated by hand.
Small fruits made of almond paste (38%) modeled and hand-painted with natural vegetable colouring. In all our products we only use VEGETABLE coloring. They are extracted from flowers, fruits, citrus, vegetables and spices. Their natural origin makes them tolerable and safe for food production.
